“I’ll never forget my first Angel Flight, nearly 20 years ago.  It was for an older woman dealing with a chronic condition.  At the destination, she said “I have something for you”.  From her bag, she pulled out a gold pin of an airplane with an angel on its wing.  It almost brought me to tears.  To this day, I proudly display that pin on the outside of my flight bag.  It accompanies me on every flight!”
