Angel Flight NE Pilots Transport Patient To Virginia Beach

We recently received a referral from a close friend of Angel Flight NE. He had received an inquiry from a local family originally from Uganda that needed help with long distance transportation. Moses, age 3, requires treatment at Neuroenhancement & Cognitive Optimization in Virginia Beach for Autism – the family already had to pay for multiple weeks of lodging & costs were piling up.

Thankfully, we were able to help! In mid-March, Marco B. – a pilot based at Norwood, MA met Moses & his mother Aida for the first leg of their flight. They then were connected with John M. who flew Moses and his mom the remainder of the mission.

Young Moses is required to stay in Virginia Beach for a few weeks of treatment, then they’ll fly back home next week. He will need continued support as he travels for ongoing treatment, and we have assured his mother that  all of us at Angel Flight NE will be here to assist them for as long and as often as they need our help.

This is just one example of how our mission with the support of our amazing volunteer pilots and corporate partners, along with you, is making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. We are truly blessed!

Please keep beautiful Moses and his family in your prayers. As with all our patients, they will forever be a part of the Angel Flight NE family. Mission/Flight requests – like Moses’ – are requested daily and we are blessed to be here for them especially during the crisis we currently facing.

Thank You and God Bless You for your support and belief in our healing mission. With your help and belief in our mission, we are able to ensure that distance is never an obstacle for patients, like Moses, to access the specialized medical care she needs.

Please know I continue to pray for you and your loved ones – Angel Flight NE is here to help you in any way possible. We continue to provide our services to children and adults who need to access life-saving medical care before, during & after treatment.

Warmest regards,

Fr. Larry & the AFNE Staff
