Pilot Resources for Private Medical Flights

Dedicated to the Safety of Our Volunteer Pilots

Angel Flight NE’s volunteer pilots have provided private medical flights to more than 108,000 children and adults for over 28 years.  Each pilot makes his/her own “go/no go.” He/she is best able to evaluate all facets of the flight including their aircraft, weather, training, and currency.

Our top priority with an Angel Flight NE mission is always safety for volunteer pilots, patients, and passengers. Our volunteer pilots generously donate their aircraft, time, and talent to help patients access the medical care they need.

To promote a culture of flight safety, Angel Flight NE has compiled safety-related resources which are available to our pilots and volunteer network. We encourage pilots to regularly check the resources below for updated information.

We strive to make this page a resource to our pilots to provide current and accurate flight safety data and links to related tools and resources.

Visit our Pilot Volunteers page to learn more which has an FAQ section that answers the most common questions about the Angel Flight program and how you can get involved. If you have specific questions not covered, please reach out to us.
