‘Angels’ take flight: Pilots give free flights for life-saving treatments

The Journal Tribune published a great editorial piece discussing Angel Flight Northeast's services and how volunteer pilots, such as Ed Gallagher of Saco, Maine, are donating their time, their fuel and planes to transport patients for free to medical care.

For a patient in Presque Isle, travel time and cost of accommodations may be prohibitive to get medical treatment in Massachusetts.

Angel Flight Northeast can remove these obstacles by providing free air flight to and from life-saving treatments.
