It’s the reason that he follows his passions and is constantly seeking out new adventures, whether it be learning to fly an airplane or scuba diving with sharks — or scaling tall mountains, as he plans to do this summer as part of his next transnational excursion.

| WAYLAND — On wings of hope, Angel Flight Northeast flies thousands of flights each year allowing patients to access medical treatments that are often out-of-state and financial reach – for free. One of their pilots, Charles Tillett of Wayland, is a feather among those wings. Since 2002, Tillett has channeled his passion for flying into 56 missions for Angel Flight. Many of his passengers live in remote areas far from specialized medical care. Others are seeking treatments not available near their homes.

| SIS Bank Corporators choose local charities |

| SANFORD, Maine — SIS Bank held its Annual Corporators Meeting in March, and three Corporators were chosen at random to select a charity to receive a $1,000 donation. David Ouellette selected the Sanford Food Pantry as his charity of choice, Allen Moulton designated Angel Flight Northeast and Patrice Aprile selected Goodall Hospital.
