Dear Angels,

I have been mulling it over in my head just what to say to express my sincerest thanks to you and I can’t find the right words.

Earlier this month a pilot named Bob picked my daughter, Jodi, up in Akron, Ohio from Ohio University where she is a student, and flew her out to see me over her spring break. I have terminal cancer. It was so wonderful to spend more time with her and make more memories.

From the bottom of my whole heart I thank your organization and particularly Kitty.

This is to give you an official "thank you" for your piloting services with Angel Flight last Monday. It’s easier to thank you in writing, because I probably would have burst into tears had I attempted to do so last Monday.

. . . I’ve never managed to sleep on a plane before this flight--that’s how secure and relaxed you made me feel. And "Somebody up there" likes us: Tuesday was foggy, instead of Monday!

We would like to convey our deepest gratitude for the great service you gave us during Natasha’s post-operation visits to Shriner’s-Boston from New Jersey to Boston and back.

Having come from so far, Kenya, you cannot imagine how this service eased one of our greatest hurdles. Special thanks to pilots: Joe Yanikoski, Steve Bernstein and Steven Christensen. We really appreciated their warmth.

I recently attended a conference on Noonan’s Syndrome, a genetic disorder which has caused my son to have numerous health and learning delay issues.

To all the wonderful people at Angel Flight ~

I just wanted to say "That You So Much" for flying me and my son to Boston and back.

It was quite an experience! Neither of is had ever flown before but both pilots went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the trip.

It is so wonderful to think it was a complete stranger to them and they took their time and expense of their plane to help me.
