How much does it cost to fly with Angel Flight?
There is no cost. Our service is absolutely FREE! We are a non-profit organization with over 1,000 volunteer pilots who provide transportation in their own private or rented aircraft. To serve those who are most in need, however, we request that you have a true financial need. In other words: that your financial resources do not permit you to travel by other means to get needed diagnosis or treatment. We DO offer free flights for other reasons, besides financial, however. We also accept requests from patients and families who are unable to use public transportation because of their medical condition, who need to fly immediately, or who live in remote areas where public transportation is not available.

Can I bring a friend or a loved one on the flight with me?
YES, as a matter of fact we encourage people to bring a friend or loved one on their trip sometimes it is more comforting to have some moral support.

Yes, we call those flights compassion flights. If you need to visit a loved one or get a loved one home Angel Flight will provide the transportation.

Do you provide flights for anybody besides medical patients?
Yes. Emergency "compassion flights" are reserved for persons who need to visit critically ill or injured family members, for patients needing organ transplants, or for organ donations. We also fly support staff and supplies in times of crises, such as when terrorists crashed two planes into the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and in the aftermath of the Newton Oak Hill School bus crash in Canada in April 2001. We also have our Angels for Armed Forces program that provides free flights for military personnel and veterans who need to access medical care, and for family members who need to travel to visit injured service members.
